Fraud Alert

He received a call on 3rd August from 08000326281. Male caller pretending to be from Telephone Preference Service stating that unwanted call protection was about to end and that he could extend it free of charge.

In some cases the caller has name and address and then asks if you pay your phone bills by Direct Debit - this is not a question the TPS would ask or need to know and in any case they do not make cold calls. This is a fraud. This number is listed in "Who called me?" website and it is a fraud. Do not give them any details, end the call. Please warn others.
