Scam warning

From Kent Police Neighbourhood Watch

Calls have been received from persons purporting to be from BT Call Management.

The caller states they are associated with BT to prevent nuisance calls and because some of these are still getting through they were reducing the monthly direct debit charge from £5 a month to £3 per month. They request bank details sort code and acc number to organise this on behalf of the customer.

This has been checked with BT who confirm it is a scam attempt.
