Appeal for witnesses - Woman's handbag snatched in Ashford

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 40s reported being robbed in Ashford.

The incident is reported to have taken place at around 9.20pm on Monday 27 February 2017 in an alleyway that links the A20 to Cherrywood Rise. The victim reported that a man grabbed her handbag as she walked through the alleyway, and that she was pulled to the ground, sustaining facial injuries.

The suspect is described as being a white man, aged in his 20s, 5ft 9in tall, slim build and had a pointed nose. He was wearing a hooded top and the hood was up. Having taken the victim's handbag, the offender left in the direction of Repton Park.
