HMRC Scam

I have been contacted by a number of people regarding a new scam telephone call allegedly from HMRC. I can assure you that HMRC do not conduct their business in this way so please do not engage in any phone conversation with anyone purporting to be from this agency. When calling, the caller states that there is an impending court case against the person and instructs them to telephone a number for further details. On phoning the number they are told they owe money in tax. They are instructed to go to Wilkinson's in Canterbury to get a form to fill in. This is a total scam so do not comply.
