Banking Scam

Today I have become aware of the following new banking scam : The scammers are ringing generally vulnerable people stating that they are from Greater Manchester Police (or any other Police Force) and that their bank/credit cards have been cloned to purchase high values items. They then provide a number for the person to ring back with their bank details. As usual with this type of call it is a well-rehearsed scam attempt. Please be wary of any such calls and pass the message to anyone who you may believe would be vulnerable to these unscrupulous fraudsters. As always…..Stay Vigilant Regards, PSE 59727 Andrew Judd
